Location-Based Services

In order to provide the “Geo Alerts” feature in the Geo Coupon Alerts app, we require access to the real-time geographic location of your Geo Coupon Alerts device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you.

We use this data to determine when you are physically close to a merchant for which you have a valid, unused coupon. When the requirements are met, you will receive a notification as a reminder. Additionally, when you redeem a coupon, your location at the time of redemption along with your unique device identifier is recorded in a log and passed to the related merchant for their records so they can track the effectiveness of the coupons offered. You may withdraw consent to Geo Coupon Alerts access to your real-time geographic location data at any time by turning off the Location Services settings (as applicable) on your device.

Cookies and Other Technologies

Geo Coupon Alerts may use “cookies” and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons on it’s website, app and emails to help us understand user behavior and know which parts of our website people have visited. We treat these cookies and other technologies as non-personal information. However, wherever identifiers such as Internet Protocol (IP) addresses are considered personal information by local law, we treat these identifiers as personal information.

Deletion of Personal Information

To have your personal information data deleted, simply send us an email at [email protected] and request that we delete your account. When your account is deleted, all of your personal information will be deleted and you won't be able to recover that information later.
